Bempton Cliffs is a short drive away on the coast and is home to one of the UK’s top wildlife spectacles.
Around half a million seabirds gather here between March and October to raise a family on towering chalk cliffs which overlook the North Sea. You can see Gannets, Guillemots, Puffins, Barn Owls and Tree Sparrows.
The Deep is Hull’s award-winning aquarium which is home to over 5,000 animals. Marvel at amazing Sharks & Rays, the UK’s only pair of Green Sawfish, a colony of Gentoo Penguins, Loggerhead Sea Turtles and much more.
Catch the daily dive show at 2pm, penguin feeds at 11:30am and 3:30pm, as well as getting hands on in a touch pool session with some animals native to British Shores.
Beverley Racecourse has been part of the historic market town of Beverley for over 300 years. It offers top quality racing and excellent facilities.

Come to the East Yorkshire coast to explore the coves and secluded bays of Flamborough head, the vast golden bays of Bridlington and Hornsea or the dog friendly beaches of Fraisthorpe or Danes Dyke.
Why not challenge yourself to climb Flamborough lighthouse which is 119 steps and rewards you with a fantastic panoramic view of the East Yorkshire coast.
Danes Dyke woodland leads to a small secluded cove with views looking out towards Bridlington Bay. This cobbled cove at the foot of the woodland is perfect to explore, enjoy the views and the quiet of the waves rolling in.
Bridlington is blessed with miles of glorious spacious sandy beach making it perfect for a family day out. Enjoy paddling in the sea, playing sports and making sandcastles.
Hornsea is a quaint little seaside town with a pleasant promenade and big sandy beach. You will find plenty of shops and cafe bars here to enjoy.
East Yorkshire has many stately homes all with different backgrounds. Secret walled gardens, ghost stories and tales of the past all add to the mystique of these magnificent buildings and their beautiful settings.
Burton Agnes is a house of immense charm and character. It has many unusual features and is fortunate in suffering very little alterations or additions in its history. This is a family "lived in" home and this welcome quality is perhaps its most appealing asset.
Sledmere House has captivated visitors for over 200 years. It is warm, friendly and popular with gardeners, antique & architecture lovers, walkers, bird watchers, military enthusiasts and photographers. As well as The Coach House Cafe on site there is a children's playground, picnic area and a park walk which takes you around the perimeter of the park where you can see red deer bred on the estate.
Sewerby Hall and Gardens is uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position with spectacular views over Bridlington and set in 50 acres of early 19th century parkland. Take a trip back to the 1900s to see how Sewerby Hall would of looked. The House has been transformed using furniture from the Victoria and Albert Museum and other important collections.
Situated in the nearby village of Brandesburton. There is so much to do for all ages.

The Clubhouse hosts a variety of events including discos, live music and karaoke nights. The beer garden is a super sun trap and the perfect spot to watch the local cricket.

A family owned farm only 10 minutes away near the seaside town of Hornsea is open from March to September. Shire horse and cart rides are a great attraction as well as the huge straw bale play area, forts, teepee's, maze, slides and tunnels.
Animals include lambs, goats, cows and horses. There are plenty of picnic benches if you take your own food or a lovely cafe selling snacks, drinks and homemade ice cream.

Mr Moo’s is an award winning ice cream manufacturer, ice cream parlour and café located on the beautiful East Yorkshire coast.
